Crossfield Gives Back (Food Drive)

The Crossfield PTO will be hosting our annual “Crossfield Gives Back” food drive in February. While the format will be different this year, we will honor our tradition of giving to students in need in our community. With your help, our Crossfield community will donate, sort and pack 250 weekend food packs of snacks and meals. These power pack meals will be distributed by Food for Others to food insecure students right here in Fairfax County.
Starting on February 1, we will be accepting donations from our generous Crossfield Community to provide meals and snacks for power packs (oatmeal, granola bars, macaroni & cheese, etc). We’ve developed an Amazon wish list this year for easy “point & click” donations. Please select Crossfield as your shipping address and the food will deliver straight to school to make it easy! We will be inviting our 6th grade students to carry on the tradition of assembling the food packs on Saturday, 2/20/21 (outdoors, masked & socially distant!). This is an ambitious effort during a pandemic, but we know we can do it. Let’s show the love, Crossfield! Together, we can help fellow students in Fairfax County.
